Photography and Videography started for me back in the 10th grade of high school. I was told by one of my teachers that I had the eye for art as a young adult you don’t see at first. It wasn’t until my parents bought me a camera when I was 19. I started taking pictures of landscape and products it was then I slowly realized that I had an eye for photography. I always keep a camera with me since then. December 26, 2017 I was on the road leaving from my hometown of Natchez, MS back to Texas where I found myself thinking about turning my dreams to reality. December 26, 2017 was the day RT Visuals 512 was born. Starting was rough trying to get clients with no portfolio so the first year I was doing tons for photoshoots for free and giving clients back 30 to 35 edits back. 2018 was filled with a lot of trial and error after learning from my mistakes and doing tons of studying I always find a way to better my craft. The business started very quickly for me because of social media and word of mouth.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road. Being a rookie photographer just starting you have so much to learn. It is much more than a camera and a beautiful model. You have learned lighting, shutter speeds, aperture, iso, editing and different lens. You will also have to build a portfolio so you will spend a lot of time searching for models that are willing to work with you. In photography, you will need a creative mindset. Creative will take your photography skills to the next level.

I am the photographer, videographer and editor. RT Visuals 512 specialize in wedding, fashion, portrait, lifestyle and boudoir photography. I am most proud of my company because we are about restoring smiles and confidence in our clients. What sets RT Visuals from the rest would be because we value our client’s input on every shoot. We want our customers to go home feeling amazing knowing that they killed their photoshoot or visual.
