Meet Rolicia Mckeller of Ro’s Famous Chicken Salad & Catering

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rolicia Mckeller. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Ro’s Famous Chicken Salad & Catering was established on November 16, 2017. One day Ro decided to quit her full-time job as a social worker.

While being home, something told her to get on her Instagram page. As she began to scroll upon her social media page. She recalls seeing a picture of her chicken salad posted on her page with the caption of “My chicken salad will be famous one day”. God no doubt reminded her of a promise she posted unknowingly! Weeks later, she got to work building her brand, and the rest is history.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
The Entrepreneurial journey has been pretty interesting. It definitely hasn’t been smooth, but I wouldn’t change anything about the lessons I’ve learned. As an entrepreneur, you have great weeks and you have not-so-great weeks.

For me, learning the logistics of business was the hardest part. As a business owner, knowing how to market, budget, and having a business plan is important. I came from a social work background, I wanted everyone to try my chicken salad for free. LOL.But getting a business mindset, meeting new people, and perfecting my craft have been one of my greatest accomplishments.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Ro’s Famous Chicken Salad & Catering cater your favorite finger foods. We cater for weddings, baby showers, birthday parties or any social event. We are known for our famous chicken salad that includes a red seedless grape, celery, and a sweet creamy mixture. We’re also known for our beautiful fruit displays that stand out alone with our other foods. Ro’s Famous Chicken Salad offers stellar customer service. We know that if the food is great, it will leave lasting memories for our clients.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I don’t believe in luck. I have no doubt that God’s favor has played a major role in my business since the beginning. In addition, I’m truly grateful for supportive family and friends.

Hard work, drive, determination, and believing in yourself is what propels a person forward.
