Today we’d like to introduce you to Ron Leonard II.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Ron. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce with a degree in Radio & Television & a minor in Theater. Originally, I had dreamed of being an actor as I was a part of the theater department and eventually President of the Improv team, but I pursued a degree in television so I could enhance a production whether in front or behind the camera. During my college years, my dreams grew from wanting to just star and be in front of the camera to being able to direct and produce powerful videos & films. Having friends that are actors is always helpful and through it, I could help my friends get exposure. I have always had a passion for helping people and after graduation, I pursued that as well to help fuel my passion for storytelling and film.
When I am not working for clients doing video or doing my own projects, I work as a licensed financial coach for one of the largest financial marketing organizations in North America. Now, I am able to help families for their future by coaching and teaching them things to lead them to financial freedom. I help families invest in better vehicles that will get them to their goals & dreams. I offer complimentary “Financial Needs Analysis” for families so that they can see where they are financially, but most importantly, seeing how we can improve and make sure they have a better future than their past. I was appointed District Manager in April for all my handwork this past quarter and I am always looking for motivated & sharp minds looking to work hard and make a difference in the community
I have been doing Ron Leo Productions since 2014 and have been able to do work locally & internationally. We have had the pleasure of working with business owners & clients in Texas, California, Louisiana, & Canada. We have also gone on tour in Spain with New Covenant Christian Fellowship Church as they visited Madrid, Valencia, Denia & many more spreading the gospel through song. They were honored with an invitation out for the 500 Year anniversary of the Protestant Reformation and needed coverage of the weeks spent overseas. We have also done interviews & event coverage with entertainers such as Reginald Ballard from “Martin”, Michael Shawn from K104, Trent Shelton, Jonathan Traylor & many more! We have done alot of work locally as well such as work with the Aids Healthcare Foundation & UNT Dallas. Over the years, we have grown with many local business partners such as Dream Katcher Photography (DK Media), Gateway Photography, XLR8 Performance, Imagne Me LLC. and many more!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It hasn’t always been smooth being an entrepreneur. Less than three months after graduating, I had to deal with losing my grandfather. It was so hard for me to focus but I went forward knowing he wouldn’t want me to stop now.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Ron Leo Productions – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We specialize in video productions for business owners, promotional videos & event coverage. We are known for bringing three things to every video: 1.Quality (Beautiful & engaging video footage every time) 2.Vision (For those that have great ideas but need help putting light to it or need the knowledge to accomplish it) 3. Purpose (Everyone can make a video but everyone can’t make one with purpose and guidance to set it apart from the rest and take it to the next level). We are most proud of the ground we have covered doing video compared to larger ones in the state & even the city that have yet to go overseas and building partnerships in and outside of the U.S. The brand has begun to speak for itself and coming from the ground up, that is alot to take pride in. We are set apart because we create every video in a spirit of excellence.
