Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina Cowley.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Christina. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
When I graduated high school in 2015, I started a job as a professional party princess and completely fell in love. At the time I worked for another company. In 2016, I left that company and decided to take my own direction with what I felt like was the job I was meant for.
I knew I could make improvements to what I had been taught, so in January of 2017, I officially opened Royally Yours. I started out the gate with the most beautifully detailed, handcrafted & expensive costumes & wigs I could find, and wigs that were handmade too. I wanted to be as close to the “big mouse” as I could so that when families booked with us, they would receive theme park quality.
My company has grown from just myself to over 15 independent contracting performers that travel the United States. I couldn’t be more proud of Royally Yours today, and how quickly we’re growing and expanding. We’ve met so many children and hopefully left love and pixie dust with each and every one of them.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some of my biggest struggles and worried revolves around performers. I was worried about my age too if I could find girls who didn’t mind their boss being (at the time) 19. Where was I going to find girls who fit the part? I needed Girls who could sing, loved children and loved princesses as much as I did. I was happily surprised. I found many girls who had the same dream I did back in 2015.
To put on a ball gown, crown and gloves and bring magic to children. I’ve found a friend in all of them as well. I’m so blessed to know all of my performers. I can rely on them to be trustworthy, take care of company property and to always be in character to ensure the magic remains there for every child.

Royally Yours Princess Parties offers the highest quality character entertainment services in the DFW area at an unbeatable, competitive price. All of our costumes and wigs are hand-made, and we only hire the best of performers.
We cast ethnically accurate performers because we truly believe that representation matters. We want to make sure that when children meet the princess, you invite to your castle that they are the real deal. In addition, all of our performers sing!
We strive to make every party and event we visit one-of-a-kind. We are committed to encouraging not only children’s imaginations but adults as well. There’s no other company in the DFW quite like ours. We also love to give back to our community. We keep track of charity hours as well. Giving back is a large part of why we do what we do.
Here at Royally Yours Princess Parties we truly enjoy volunteering at charity events. I’m the owner, Christina, I spent a lot of time in the hospital as a child, and even now, so I know exactly what it’s all like to be stuck in a hospital bed and even how scary it can be.
When I decided to open, I wanted my company to stand on a foundation of giving back. We love bringing smiles to not only hospitalized children but also to special needs children and the less fortunate. The hugs and the smiles really make it all worthwhile.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory was my first time at Disney meeting my favorite princess, The Little Mermaid. She was always my favorite, and I was in utter shock. I was convinced she was real and was the most beautiful mermaid (and person) I had ever seen.
I even remember our interaction. Talking about collecting human things, using dinglehoppers as hair brushes, and what color my mermaid tail would be. I wanted to be just like her. The best part is, now I am!
