I’m Rubi Ochoa, born in Houston Texas on August 20, 1991. My story begins with my parents, who, coming from Mexico, taught me to value my roots and the importance of being bilingual, in order to help my community. From a very young age, I discovered a passion for the medical sector, which led me to become a medical assistant and to obtain a technical career in medical billing and coding, nowadays I count not only to be a licensed aesthetic injector but many other specialties.
I am the mother of two beautiful children, Elienani and Nathanael, who are the engine that drives every step I take. They are the light of my life and my reason to strive, to create a bright future full of opportunities for them. Being a mother has taught me the true essence of love and dedication, and reminds me that every sacrifice is worth it when it comes to your well-being.
Over the years, I have been lucky enough to work in the medical area since I was 18 years old, surrounding myself with exceptional people such as Dr. Rusty Michael Nicar and plastic surgeon Dr. Lee. I have had the privilege of working in the Department of Neurology at Baylor and in Nuclear Medicine at UT Southwestern, where each experience has been a priceless lesson.
One of my greatest achievements has been to found Novabelle MedSpa, a dream that became a reality.
My journey with Novabelle began as a dream, a dream that arose at a time in my life when I needed it most. After ending a very difficult and toxic relationship, I knew it was time to reinvent myself. That experience left me marked, but it also gave me a spark of determination. I decided that, despite the obstacles, I wanted to build something unique, so I set myself a goal: to create Novabelle.
I made the courageous decision to travel to Colombia, a country recognized for its excellence in body sculpting techniques and postoperative care. I came with a heart full of hope and the desire to learn everything he could. For several months, I immersed myself in a new world, traveling and learning from the best in the countryside. My goal was to combine the best of medicine and my medical knowledge and beauty, creating something unique that I could offer to my community. That experience not only trained me, but lifted me off the ground and showed me that, even when you feel like a loser, you can find your way back.
And that’s how Novabelle was born. The name “Novabelle” comes from a fusion of Latin and French languages, meaning “new beauty”. This name is not just a label; it deeply identifies with me and my mission. My wish is that every patient who crosses our doors feels renewed and empowered, like a new version of himself. This concept of “new beauty” perfectly summarizes what I want to offer: help each person discover and appreciate their own inner and outer beauty.
Becoming a Latin entrepreneur has allowed me not only to grow, but also to fight for the recognition of my community. With effort and passion, we have managed to be recognized with a five-star rating ⭐️ for our excellence in customer service. This is a testimony that dreams, no matter how great they seem, can be achieved with love and dedication.
Life has not always been easy. Throughout my journey, God has removed the wrong people from my life, but he has also blessed me with the opportunity to meet wonderful souls, such as my husband, who has been by my side giving me unconditional support in the most difficult moments. I thank my parents every day, who always instilled in me that education is the best investment we can make. They taught me that no one can take away knowledge from us and that every effort is worth it and my children my greatest motivation.
My story is a reminder that, despite the obstacles, every fall brings with it a lesson. Humility and humanity are the pillars that define me, and although I was not born in a “golden cradle”, I have learned to fight with courage. I have faced difficult moments and relationships that have taught me deep life lessons, showing me the importance of surrounding myself with love and positivity.
Today, I dedicate myself to helping others, to empowering the Latino community, supporting entrepreneurs who, like me, face challenges day by day. My heart beats for my family and my community, and I will continue to do everything possible to leave a legacy of love, effort and improvement.
Every step of this path has been full of challenges and lessons. I have learned that, even in the darkest moments, there is a way out, and that we can always find the light within ourselves. I hope my story inspires others to be reborn, to follow their dreams and to find their own path towards a more beautiful and meaningful life

My journey has been anything but smooth, filled with challenges that have shaped who I am today. Founding Novabelle MedSpa was one of the most demanding yet rewarding milestones in my life. It required not just professional expertise but also a deep commitment to building a team that shares my values and vision. The road was not easy; I had to prepare myself intensively and surround myself with people who were as passionate and dedicated as I am. Together, we strive to bring the most innovative solutions in the world of aesthetics. I’m particularly proud of pioneering a new service that provides real help for those struggling with stretch marks and scars. Every challenge has fueled my determination to empower others, showing that with perseverance and the right support system, we can achieve extraordinary things.
