Meet Sabreena Wadhwani of Sky Wealth Real Estate

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sabreena Wadhwani

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
In 2014, I began my real estate journey at the age of 21, helping students find housing while attending The University of Texas at Austin. I never set out to purse real estate- it sort of happened by chance when a real estate broker approached me about joining their company. I quickly fell in love with the industry. I truly enjoyed meeting new people, and since housing is something everyone needs, I had the chance to interact with all kinds of individuals. It felt incredibly rewarding to serve and help people find a place to call home.

After graduation, I transitioned into a full-time realtor, and in 2018, I joined a top producing team. In this role, I was fortunate to be able to help 30-50 clients buy homes each year, which gave me the opportunity to assist hundreds of individuals, families, and investors in achieving their real estate goals. The experience was invaluable, but in 2024, I knew I was ready for the next step. That’s when I decided to open my brokerage here in Dallas. Starting my own brokerage had always been a dream of mind. In fact, when I first got into real estate, I created a fake business card with my name and title “Real Estate Broker/Owner”- so it felt surreal to reach that goal exactly 10 years later.

I’ve always been very self-motivated and a bit of a workaholic. Through my brokerage, I now have the privilege of helping clients buy and sell homes throughout the DFW area. Additionally, I mentor agents who join my brokerage, guiding them with any questions they have and setting them up for success so they can excel at serving their own clients. It’s been a rewarding journey, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to continue serving people and growing in this industry.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. When I first started in real estate at 21, I didn’t even know what a mortgage was. Navigating the industry was challenging, and I had a lot to learn. Real estate is a tough field to break into—you really have to build trust with people, especially since buying and selling homes is a big investment. That trust takes time to develop especially when you’re a young 20 year old just starting out. What kept me going was the genuine joy I found in helping people- whether it was guiding a buyer towards finding a new home or helping a seller move on to their next chapter. I always kept the mindset that mastering your craft and leading with a heart of service would set me apart, and success would follow.

Once things started to pick up, they really took off. Some years have been incredible in terms of business, but there are also times when the market slows down, and it can be tough to keep that momentum going. That’s just part of the industry—it’s both cyclical and seasonal.

Starting a new brokerage has brought its own set of struggles, especially during a year when the real estate industry experienced a lot of changes and uncertainty. But my experience, hard work, and dedication to helping others has been incredibly helpful in pushing through those challenges. Having a “why” and leading with purpose has been key to pushing through when times get tough. I’m constantly learning, adapting, and growing, and I’m grateful for the journey and the lessons that come with it.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I’m definitely a risk-taker, and one of the biggest risks I’ve taken was moving from Austin to Dallas and leaving a comfortable job with a team I loved to start my own company. I had no connections in Dallas, so I had to rebuild from the ground up—relearning a new market and navigating a city as vast as DFW. It was a huge leap of faith, but I knew that if I wanted to create the life I envisioned, I had to step outside of my comfort zone. I’ve always believed that good things don’t come from staying in what’s comfortable; you have to take risks to reach the next level.

That being said, I do think it’s important to balance risk-taking with planning. You need a clear vision of what you’re working toward, but at the same time, your faith in what you’re doing has to be bigger than any fear or doubt you might face. For me, it’s always been about trusting God, trusting the process, and understanding that even if things don’t go as planned, you’ll learn and grow from it.

In a way, I see a parallel with first time homebuyers. Taking the leap to buy a home can feel just as intimidating, and many of my first time homebuyer clients come to me nervous or uncertain about the process. But they push through that fear because they understand what’s on the other side—the security, stability, and excitement of owning a place to call home. Some risks are absolutely worth taking. Whether in real estate or life in general, the greatest rewards often come when you take that leap of faith, despite the fear.
