Today we’d like to introduce you to Saeid Aryan.
So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I moved to Dallas Fort Worth after finishing my training in Ohio back in 2014. I finished my training at Ohio University in neurological surgery. I founded Axis Brain and Back Institute Aug of 2014. In past few years, we have grown with four office locations in Southlake, Keller, Denton and Decatur. We have six providers in our practice.
Myself and Dr. Rubin are the neurosurgeons of the practice. We have one Physician assistant and one nurse practitioner. Also, we have physical therapy in our Keller location with one physical therapist and one physical therapist assistant. Our 2020 plan is to open our surgery center in our Southlake location and add pain management to all the services that we provide.
Has it been a smooth road?
It has been extremely challenging to start a business since I did not have any formal training in business since They do not teach business in medical school. I have learned how to run business and manage staff and try to compete in very competitive market.
We’d love to hear more about your practice.
We are a Neurosurgery practice. I operate on Brain and spine. We treat patient with neurological disorders and also patients with chronic back and neck pain. We have been successful in our practice because patient comes first and we absolutely try to do as little as possible with minimally invasive and latest techniques to get our patient back to their daily life. We do have the trust of our patients and we do not take it for granted. We do treat our patient like if they are family.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
This is a great place for Medical practice business since the metropolitan area is growing so fast and people are migrating here in such fast rate. Just in past five years that I have been here, I see the growth and also the opportunities that is out there. It is a great place for other people to start there practice here since there is no shortage of patients here. It is very competitive but certainly doable.
