Today we’d like to introduce you to Sallie Brigance.
Hi Sallie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I was born in Greenville, South Carolina and I grew up in Arlington, Texas. I went to school at the University of North Texas where I earned my bachelor’s degree in marketing and advertising. I started my career in marketing right out of college with Hormel Foods and later I went to work for Frito Lay. I later found my way over to Thryv where I have spent the last 20+ years helping small to medium size businesses grow their businesses through online marketing. I have a real passion for helping small businesses. I love to watch them succeed in their business because they have taken the time to invest in marketing. At Thryv, we offer SEO/Search Engine Optimization, websites, online ads, social media management and marketing, omni channel marketing, text and email marketing, CRM, payroll software and more. I have lived in Frisco, Texas for 12 years with my husband and our 17 year old son. We have 2 labs and a yorkie poo and are supporters of the DFW Lab Rescue.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
During covid businesses were shutting down left and right and people were not spending money on advertising. It was a very difficult time to get people to invest in growing their business. I had to show people that now more than ever was the time to step up their marketing game. This was a challenging time as people were already losing business and they were afraid to spend money as they didn’t want to lose anymore money with everything that was going on in the world due to covid. I was able to show value in advertising and the return on investment that can come with digital marketing.

I help people grow their business through digital marketing. I specialize in online marketing on Google, social media and our omni channel marketing platforms. I am known for being friendly and outgoing. I love meeting new people. I’ve never met a stranger. I go above an beyond for all of my clients. The majority of all of my business is from networking and referrals. I am most proud of the sales accomplishments I have earned at Thryv. I have won several annual incentive trips over the 25 years I have worked at Thryv. I have received many awards for being a top producer as well.
