Today, we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Katchy. Samantha was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Mallory Herrin.
Samantha, can you walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Our dream for 12 years has been to open a center for children diagnosed with Autism. Our dream became a reality in 2020! We love our clients, and our team. However, no one shared with us the importance of HR. I heard about Mallory from a high school friend. I reached out to her and she responded immediately, that was almost a two years ago!
Please tell us more about your brand, Fast Track ABA Center
Fast Track ABA Center offers a wide range of behavior analysis services for children with developmental disabilities, such as Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), ADHD, delays in verbal or nonverbal communication, social skills, and daily living skills. We specialize in early intervention, and create individualized functional based plans using structured-play and intensive teaching intervention to teach life long skills. We use data to create and drive your child’s individualized treatment plans. We implement evidence based teaching methodologies such as, but are not limited to, Analysis of Verbal Behavior, Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Natural Environment Training (NET)/Incidental Teaching, and Pivotal Response Training. Your child works one-on-one with an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) who is closely supervised by a BCBA. This allows us to effectively use evidence-based interventions that positively impact your child’s life. Training: Parent & Caregiver We focus on functional and generalization of target skills across settings and individuals, in order to transfer goals into various environments. In other words, we teach your child appropriate skills that can be used whenever and where-ever. It’s great if your kid can follow instructions at our center, but we only deem success if your child can engage in the appropriate behavior with you, their siblings, grandparents, relatives and their community. We care about your families traditions, and creating new family experiences during Thanksgiving, the holidays, family vacations, family occasions, family pets, family road trips, weddings, etc. Parent, caregiver, family and community support provide significant positive impact on children diagnosed with ASD. Our goal is to focus on teaching your child to be as independent as possible – increasing appropriate life skills and decreasing problematic behaviors.
