Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Forsyth.
Sarah, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Growing up, I always loved styling the hair of friends and family. From something as simple as braiding a friends hair to styling for weddings, it’s something I always knew I loved. As I got to the point in life where I needed to decide on a career, I knew that there was nothing else I would love as much as being a hairstylist. From there I went to hair school and apprenticed through Bigger Better Hair Salon.
Working alongside some of the most hardworking, caring, and honest people made me realize that I was exactly where I needed to be. As soon as I graduated hair school, I was hired and have been here ever since. The other stylists at this salon worked so hard to be where they are today and have taught me so many great things that I will carry with me forever.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It definitely hasn’t been easy, as nothing worth it will ever be. But, having such great mentors have made it a great ride thus far.

I definitely got lucky to work at such a high-end salon right out of school. Not a lot of people get the opportunity to start out like I have. I have to thank Sonia and Brandon, two of the stylists here at Bigger Better Hair for giving me the opportunity and shaping me into the hairstylist I always dreamed of being.
