Today we’d like to introduce you to Scott and Keri Ramos.
Scott and Keri, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Scott imported the Ritello and opened his very first Ritello distribution center in 2013 in Garland, Texas. Very shortly, he hired me (Keri) from a Craigslist advertisement. At the time, I was 21, a single mom trying to make ends meet. I had always worked for employers, but I figured I’d give myself a shot. Scott was a great coach and leader, so good that I opened my very first Ritello store in 2014. During that time, we started dating and soon fell in love. There was no stopping us now! We were a team! We are a people business, cleaning the air, one home at a time. In 2017, we tied the knot and purchased our home together.
In 2018, we took a leap of faith and moved to Grand Prairie for a bigger location! Hard work and dedication was paying off! Yes, it was a lot of long hours (still is), but helping people is always worth it at the end of the day. Today, we have locations in Grand Prairie, Houston, Lufkin, Harlingen and Austin, Texas. This is not to mention locations outside of the state.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Has it been a smooth road? Ha! Is it ever? Between Capitalism and the American dream being replaced with socialistic ideas and tendencies, it has been a difficult road. Sales used to be thought of something you do FOR someone but has been replaced with the thinking of it’s something you do TO someone. Now we are dealing with COVID and working day by day. We pray for a positive future for everyone.
Ritello Distribution – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Here at Ritello Distribution, we are a people company in the air filtration business! Our motto is “Stop Complaining! Join the Revolution!”
We specialize in eliminating particals harmful to the respiratory system in people’s homes, using water as a filter. We carry the Ultimate Cleaning System: the only system one will need to purchase for the rest of their lives. Our product is a certified medical device and is sold in 50 different countries worldwide. In a nutshell, we help people have a clean and healthy environment for their home and their families.
What we are most proud of is the amount of families we have helped throughout the years. The smiles on their faces is always worth it, not to mention the love we receive on Google and social media. What sets us apart from others is that we have never given up! Through all the struggles, through all the other businesses shutting down; We have stayed! We never gave up! Even though there are a handful of systems like it, we know we have the best product on the market in our category. When times look down, we look up! We have come a long way from seven years ago, and we are not done yet!
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The proudest moment of my career so far, hands down has to be when I was announced to help the most people worldwide in making the best decision of their life in 2019! It finally felt like everything I had been working for was coming together. I was crowned Queen of Ritello, which was bittersweet. It is nice to see people looking up to you when I once started from the bottom. I still have plenty to learn, but I am far from where I started. – Keri
