Today we’d like to introduce you to Segun Oguntona.
Segun, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I’ve always liked to create things especially when it makes me happy. I grew up around Instruments which I felt was definitely the right direction. So because of that, I ended up attracting things that revolve around art. Which I feel has given me a lot of perspective In life.
Has it been a smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road I’ve had all sorts of discouragements. From lack of support to being new on the scene and just having to figure out how things work.
When I started to become a professional musician I got a eviction notice from my new place over bogus noise complaints. But innately I knew everything was going to be OK because the eviction letter came with a Jimi Hendrix stamp. I felt the universe was kinda playing a little joke on me. I still have that stamp. I felt like I couldn’t catch a break for the longest. This year I can say was the hardest year for me, but at the same time My team and I made some great things shake. You can’t go anywhere with a bad attitude.
Tell us more about the band.

I feel what really separates us from others is really our dynamic and readiness to incorporate the unlikeliest elements.
