We have always loved encouraging and connecting people. This comes natural to us and is our passion.
With COVID-19 affecting our little boutique escape room business, and more importantly, the minds and moods of dear friends, families and beloved community, we asked ourselves,” how can we bring a little bit of happy to the world?” And while we were quarantined, A Little Bit of Happy was born.
A Little Bit of Happy bundles are thoughtfully curated collections of specialty items that help people connect with happiness and each other. Whether it be a friend, medical provider, a teacher, or someone who just needs a little pick me up- A Little Bit of Happy is just what the doctor ordered. We also include a huge selection of jigsaw puzzles- to help families stay engaged and to provide a worthwhile connection activity.
As a locally owned and operated Frisco, Texas family business that truly cares about our community, each purchase you make we will not only make your gift recipient a little bit happier but also our community, as a percentage of our proceeds will be given back to our community- so that they too, can feel a little happier.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We are still learning and growing, At first, we were delivering all over the metroplex – for FREE…. we soon learned that this was too much for us.
We are also learning what products our customer base prefers and the price points that work for them.
Little Bit of Happy – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We specialize in BRINGING the HAPPY through puzzles and bundled gifts of HAPPY. Things you cannot purchase on Amazon, from original makers. What sets us apart is our FREAKY FAST local delivery, unique curated gifts, and great price points. We always like to include a PLUS ONE- something the consumer is not expecting. Our hearts are for the community- and we truly just want to help bring joy.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The proudest moment with Little Bit of Happy has been when we got a text from a customer – This is what her gift recipient (going through Chemo) had sent her:
“Oh my goodness, you totally made my day!!!!!!!!! This is the most adorable gift selection!!!!!!!! I don’t know how you read my mind but you did:
A) I’ve become totally into letter writing in the past month, so the beautiful notes are perfection!!!!
B) I use pencils to check my TPT products before posting but have hardly any that work and none that are pretty!!!!! And I’m going to use them to check a product tonight!!!!!
C) I ❤️❤️❤️ candles and actually just finished one yesterday so I am ready for a new one!!!! Perfect!!! Yippee!!!
D) One of my guilty pleasures is popcorn. How did you know??? Sometimes I’ll get some just to eat while I’m driving ha!!!!!! I’m so excited to eat it!!!!! 🙂
E) I love little notebooks and use them for everything!!!!!!!! I love it!!!!
F) Going back to candles, I see this one can be used as lotion???? I am totally doing that tonight!!!!”
