Today we’d like to introduce you to Sherra Bible.
Sherra, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I was in Law Enforcement for 18 years and was injured on the job. I ultimately took a different career path, the Beauty Industry. In 2012, I partnered with my Mother and opened a hair salon..without knowing the business at all. In seven months, we built a successful salon with a full staff and debt free.
After opening a 2nd salon in 2013, the beauty bug bit me and I attended beauty school to become an Eyelash Extensions Specialist. Because I’m passionate about making women more beautiful and empowering them, I became a Licensed Eyelash Instructor as well. I teach private classes but, I’m also an Adjunct Instructor at a local college, teach eyelash extensions.
I got where I am today by how I treat my guest when they come to see me. I educate them on their lashes from beginning to end. I ensure that whenever they come in to see me, that they leave with the best experience possible.
Has it been a smooth road?
The road in building my business has not always been easy, but quitting was never an option. It was always about gaining more knowledge and practicing everyday. I had to use different strategies in promoting my business. I had to get myself out there more. Social media became more for business and not just pleasure. I did free sets of lashes and offered model @ discounts. In the end, perseverance paid off.

My business is an Eyelash Extensions business. I specialize in educating each and every client about their lashes. What they need to do when they leave me, as far as aftercare. As a company, I’m most grateful that when people hear the business name, they know it’s a place of integrity and quality work. What sets me apart from others, the client gets the same me every time …catering to their needs no matter how my day is going.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Our city is definitely a good place for the Eyelash business. Eyelash Extensions have been around since the early 1800’s. Just like acrylic nails, we aren’t going anywhere.
