Today we’d like to introduce you to Stacey Whaling.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Stacey. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
The Style Tribe story began during a high school basketball game. My partner and I are two educators in Frisco ISD who come from different backgrounds. In my previous life, I was in the fashion retail universe before I became a literature teacher and now Associate Principal and my partner Kandy teaches and runs the Technology Department at our high school.
We both were busy and did our shopping thru online boutiques and started talking about how fun it would be to join forces and start one ourselves. We finally decided to go for it and have been loving every second of our boutique adventure. I have always been passionate about fashion and customer service and Kandy is a creative detail-oriented person so becoming partners felt natural. Kandy is more back of the house and I handle the front.
We wanted to create a site that catered to a variety of different types of women who are seeking out affordable on-trend fashions. We also want to make sure that our customers are given strategies on how to wear their purchases different ways to become versatile pieces in their closets. We called it Style Tribe because we want our customers to become part of our Tribe and feel confident wearing the styles that we offer.
This has been a fun journey so far and we are both passionate about our brand and our customers. We look forward to adding more amazing ladies to our Tribe!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
We have learned a lot about how much stock to have on hand, what brands we are passionate about offering and using our social media presence to promote our products and story.

Style Tribe Boutique offers on trend fashions and accessories to women who love to wear the latest looks but do not want to break the bank. They are also looking for easy ways to shop because our customers are busy and crave versatility and convenience. Many of our customers request style tips and advice in how to wear our items. We love offering our customers that extra level of customer service.
