Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Echevarria.
Stephanie, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Growing up, I always knew I wanted to be in the beauty industry. I remember purchasing a starter kit and I really began to pursue Nails at the age of 12. I practiced on my family. I was going through some personal issues at the time and I felt like I needed something to keep my mind busy. I began to feel like my work wasn’t good enough so for a while, I actually put a pause on trying to get myself out there. It wasn’t until Highschool year when a friend of mine really encouraged me to create an Instagram directly dedicated to my work. After that push, everything went well from there. I shared my work all over social media and my following went up. I never expected exposure. One thing that I will say is my Parents always motivated me, never doubted me and taught me never to give up no matter how big the obstacle. As an entrepreneur, that’s one thing I feel really inspired me to push forward. Being a nail technician is my passion I love what I do so it never feels like work!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
My journey has definitely been an experience I’ll never change. Life happens and obstacles can get in the way. One thing that held me back was my own self-doubt and insecurities. I do struggle with anxiety so it was hard to focus on my work and even school at times. I tend to worry a lot and it really does alter the way you progress in life. I learned to change those thoughts with positive views. I constantly practiced late at night. I knew I needed to really work hard to get to my goal. My advice to anyone who wants to pursue entrepreneurship is to Never give up, believe in yourself, never stop setting goals and always have faith.

I am a Nail Technician. I specialize in Luxurious Nails! I love working with complex designs and LOTS of bling. I am known for my crystal placement in the Nail industry. I have now expanded my Business to not only doing Nails but to now providing quality supplies to many amazing nail techs! My brand is growing. I am so excited to see what my journey has instore for me! What sets me apart from others is my ambition. I work hard to accomplish anything necessary.

It can be hard to see the good in obstacles, by stating this in my head I learned that everything has a purpose, a lesson. Sometimes things will not go as planned but God has A purpose for everything. Its not always our way but Gods Way.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was a very outspoken person. I loved to talk to and meet new people. Being a nail technician, I am able to meet so many personalities. Communication is very important when providing any type of service. Many describe me as a go-getter. I was always looking for things to do. That shaped me to be who I am today. I constantly want more in life. An ambitious mind is a key to all success.
