Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Lowe.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I am the CEO & Founder of The J29 Experience™. As a wife, mother, Seminary graduate and servant-leadership degreed recipient from Dallas Baptist University I served as a Pastor, Co-Pastor, mentor & counselor to people from all walks of life. I have also served, and continue to serve, as a Paralegal for 16 years.
I experienced a divorce in 2017 that ushered me to a place of isolation, desolation, and consecration; all of which I refer to as an “exile experience.” A constant reminder of Jeremiah 29:11 helped me endure this season as with many prior seasons in my life. I discovered along the way that this experience was ultimately preparing me for the next season of my life. It was during this time that God used me to birth the book, “The J29 Experience – Standing in Exile” in 2018. Little did I know, that my testimony would pave the way for my pain and my purpose to collide. My book made several Amazon Bestseller lists & categories within the first 1 hour & 30 minutes of being launched.
The book also paved the way for God to use me even more by birthing the business, The J29 Experience™, which is a service-based, divorce resource center. We facilitate monthly life-group sessions, weekly 1-on-1 mentoring, bi-annual retreats and an array of resources for female divorcees and their families. To my surprise, God was strategically orchestrating my purpose and my destiny. During my current 16-year tenure as a Paralegal and due to high demand, The J29 Experience™ has expanded to include Paralegal Consulting Services.
My passion for serving others has awarded me the opportunity to use my personal testimony (J29 exile experience) to change the lives of divorced & single women near and abroad. My focus is to unveil the eyes of women from childhood wounds, mother-father wounds and to take self-accountability in order to truly experience healing & change within their exile experience. In addition, I help my clients to understand that God can restore any situation and despite the obstacles, God still has a plan and a purpose for their life.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has been a bittersweet road but very awakening because it led me to my purpose. Bittersweet because no one dreams of marrying to get divorced. Bittersweet because being at a crossroad of decisions that will affect the lives of so many is never easy. Bittersweet because divorce is essentially a death of something, and you must grieve with constant reminders. Awakening because I never knew that I held on to so much pain from my childhood. Awakening because it forced me to take ownership and accountability of my life choices. Awakening because it drew me to a place where I undeniably know that it was God who kept me. Awakening because my eyes are opened to the level of hurt that families never get healing for. It has also been rewarding to be able to encourage and liberate others while facilitating their healing, growth and life changes.

As the CEO of The J29 Experience™, I am a degreed, qualified and experienced women’s ministry leader and facilitator of women’s programs. I am proud to offer a team of consultants who are experts in their field that co-facilitate group sessions with The J29 Experience™. We have space available for group sessions and state of the art technology for mobile and virtual 1-on-1 sessions. We offer affordable rates and low costs. The J29 Experience™ is resource based, change of behavior based and divorce based, which is a current void in the family, counseling & spiritual sectors.

My two children have caused me to never give up and to always strive to be the best. When no one else was around there have been times that my biggest cheerleaders were my darling children. My parents deserve credit; they have never been biased and have always held me to a high standard in all that I set out to do. My family, my Spiritual mentor and my close friends have cheered me on, spent countless hours being a listening ear, prayer warriors, protectors, advocates and so much more! During this time God has strategically surrounded me with some amazing people.
