Sukhee, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
As a child growing up in Nepal, I would dream of having a beauty business in America. I dabbled in everything beauty from threading to make up to hair. I wanted to learn it all. Fast forward a few years and here I am, living my dream. I own my very own Brow Studio in Dallas, Tx! Of course, I’ve had many bittersweet life experiences that made me stronger as a person to face the harsh real world experiences! Today, Arch By Suki has been doing Brow 101 since 2008 and proudly serving the DFW area. I’ve been blessed to share my experiences, skills, and knowledge to those who are new to the beauty industry at no cost when I travel home to Nepal.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
There are always challenges in every step of our lives, it doesn’t matter if you’re a man or woman. In my opinion, women have to face a few more challenges than men do. You just need to tackle and move forward. As a woman, I did go through many obstacles from home, society to abroad lifestyle. I feel like you have to have some ups and down in life by which you get to learn from it and be better and stronger. The beginning is always hard but once you know what you want and follow your heart, then you will never fail. For young women who just starting their career, all I have to say is to follow your dream. Don’t linger around by over thinking of which career could be better for you… be that career creator!

We specialize in brow shaping and makeup artistry. I believe in quality over quantity that’s why it’s appointment base only. This allows me to give each guest the time they deserve for their unique eyebrows. I’m most proud of creating a Brow 101 service where guest can learn, ask questions, and address issues about their eyebrows. Our Brow 101 is a more detailed appointment where I create a custom brow shape and color for each individual. Taking time with each guest and giving them a personalized brow shape is what sets us apart from others.
