Today we’d like to introduce you to Suzanne Bernhard and Juan Vargas.
Suzanne, Juan, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
In 2011 Juan and I started to build our new House and from the materials left over, he started to create Industrial looking furniture. It is a hobby Juan enjoys, He has always been very talented. We quickly realized the interest in these pieces and started to sell them in a small 100 s.f. booth of an antique. We then opened up another one.
In 2014 we had so many orders that our garage/shop was just not big enough. We also wanted to take better care of our clients. So we leased a 6000 sq ft warehouse in the Dallas design district where We continued to grow. Two plus years passed by, business was great and we had to move out to a 12000 sq ft warehouse/shop in 2016 so we could accommodate 14 employees and our growing clientele.
We have currently outgrown our 12,000 s.f. space again and are looking to expand. It has been an exciting adventure and we truly enjoy meeting our clients and providing unique and custom pieces for each person. We love to create something everlasting with a personal touch while using great sustainable materials.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has been pretty smooth sailing for us. Our only challenge has been to keep up with orders considering they are coming in at a rate much larger than we can accommodate with our space. We feel truly blessed to say this is our challenge because it is a great challenge to have!

We create unique industrial inspired custom-made furniture. Everything is built from scratch with sustainable materials here in Dallas, Tx. We specialize in custom orders for commercial purposes, creating unique long-lasting pieces, at a very affordable price. We are proud of our product and the personality each piece has, which is what sets us apart from other furniture manufacturers.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Tough question. Not sure we would change or do anything differently. We have been blessed with amazing clients and a great product that speaks for itself with no advertising other than word of mouth. So it has been an easy path for us.
