Meet Suzette Munson and Tina Lytch of Love 41 in Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Suzette Munson and Tina Lytch.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Suzette and Tina. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
In 2018, my then 1 year old son, 3 year old daughter, husband and I went on an around the world trip without last stop being Rwanda, Africa.

To make a very long story short. At the time I was designing all the women’s line and home line at www.saddlebackleather.com which is co-owned by my husband and I. After my 1st trip to Africa I KNEW what my mission would be. Start a new company and give all the profits away to the underprivileged with my focus on children & women. We have been able to raise 65k to open the Dream Day Care in Africa so the mothers of the beauty and sewing school we support have the best care for their kids while they are being trained.

We are heavily invested in Rwanda and now have 12 Rwandan children we carefully for as our children. We will head back in September to see two of my sons graduate from bible school.

Fast forward, Love 41 was opened online in 2011 and our growth has been steady year over year. Our impact now includes Rwanda, USA and Mexico thru job training, acts of compassion, scholarships to orphans and foster children for bible school and most importantly everything is done with the Word of God. Recently we set up a home for women of sex trafficking in the Fort Worth area. We made this house a beautiful home for these ladies by supplying everything from towels and wastebaskets to all furniture and decor.

We also own our own manufacturing in Mexico where we make all our leather designs. We have also provided the best of care for our employees with free day care for their kids as well as counseling on site, greatly discounted lunches and an upcoming private school to open this year for the children exiting the day care.

We will continue making high quality leather fashion goods while using it as a platform to impact lives in USA, Mexico and Africa.

Has it been a smooth road?
With the company being run by only two women full time, it’s challenging to get everything done we want done. We do have contract work done as well but for sure we still see gaps.

It’s also a huge challenge to make sure my importance is on my own family when you actually own the business. I try extremely hard not to be driven to my work before my own family. That balance has to always be checked.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
I recently asked our customers why they buy from us and UNANIMOUSLY they all said
1. YOUR GIVING
2. YOUR QUALITY or
1. YOUR QUALITY
2. YOUR MISSION/GIVING

We are a people company that uses high quality and fashionable leather goods to change people’s lives. I’m the owner, c0-founder and designer of all the products. I am known as a people person, a giver with an eye for fashion and style. A little crazy too (being the youngest of 10 is probably responsible for that).

I personally don’t know of any other company doing what we do as a whole. 100% is given and it’s why we exist. Our products have a 41 year warranty for a reason. We know we can stand behind the exceptional quality. We also own our own social manufacturing company in Mexico where our designs are made. We give our employees benefits no one else does in the country.
1. Free counseling in the factory for men and women
2. After school program for our employees and their children where we teach English, music and computers at a price that is affordable for all
3. Marriage counseling
4. Free Day Care for our employees’ children which is the best in the city
5. We will be opening a school for the children coming out of the day care this year. This school be all in English and of the best quality as well.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Absolutely without a doubt. Texas is a culture within a culture. We are friendly, love high quality, see the value of leather and Texans are giving people. The type of work I do is well received.
