So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
About three years ago I started photography by being a second photographer for a friend. She is a very talented senior photographer in the Dallas area. She saw potential in me and gave me the chance to help her out.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Not at all. It’s a very competitive industry. Everyone wants to be the best and stand out. However, you also find the best kind of people. I can’t tell you how much other photographers have help me grow.
Sway’s Life – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I am a portrait photographer. I specialized portrait because I like to tell stories through them. I like to think that what sets me apart is they moody twist I put in them.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define success by the amount profit you are getting on the area you specialized in.
