Today we’d like to introduce you to Tanner Patrick.
Tanner, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started as a musician in a band playing local shows around Dallas/Fort Worth. After gaining traction in the local scene, our band signed with a major record label and began touring nationally. After a few years of touring, our band split and I created my YouTube channel, Tanner Patrick. In 2011, I began filming videos and self-producing music for my channel, which has now grown to 1.5 million subscribers. Throughout my time in music, I’ve been passionate about health/fitness and in 2019, I joined Equinox as a group fitness instructor and launched @tannerpatrickfit. As different as the paths may look, I’m extremely passionate about music and fitness and have been enjoying this dual-career life.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have been many bumps along the way, including my diagnosis with type one diabetes and two spontaneous pneumothoraces.
We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
Tanner Patrick started has a music project in my bedroom and has evolved into a multifaceted entertainment business that has taken me all over the world. From educating and motivating others as a keynote speaker and fitness instructor to entertaining a crowd through music and stories, the expansion of the brand into multiple industries sets it apart from others. I’m proud of the company’s ability to adapt to change while taking on new challenges.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Playing racquetball with my dad and brother.
