Taurus and Brie, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Got Drip Inc. basically started off as a thought in February of 2019. We knew we wanted to create inspirational apparel that people would gravitate towards. The rap artist Plies has a hit song called “Got Drip 4 Sale,” and one night, my wife and I were sitting in bed after hearing his song when she told me, “I Got It!” and asked me, “Do You?.”
At that very moment, we knew we had something that could be bigger than just producing t-shirts. That same night my wife created a logo; that logo was made in the image of a sticker, that sticker was turned into ten (10) promo t-shirts and the rest was history. What separates our verion of DRIP from the rest of society is our acrynom (D)ope (R)eal (I)ntellectual (P)eople, I Got It! Do You? The acronym for Drip came from a dope, real, intellectual person, herself, Martavia Thomas; we just got creative and revolutionized the way Drip is perceived. Going forth, we have been finding new and creative ways to improve our brand, so be on the lookout for a Got Drip Inc relaunch in 2021. We are planning something major in our new 2021 collection of apparel and accessories. Honestly, this is only our second year in this business and we have a passion for producing dope, real, intellectual, product through our brand, something similar to how an artist express themselves through their artwork.
Has it been a smooth road?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road towards liberation. Adverse forces of Nature have continuously worked through person’s, places, and things, to keep us from manifesting our visions for our brand. Despite the struggles and hardships we have faced, we continue to remain positive and learn from our mistakes and grow.

Our business, GOT DRIP INC. is a brand that specializes in bringing DOPE. REAL. INTELLECTUAL. PRODUCT, to people that appreciate and value quality, family, principles and a revolving way of life. We are known for creating quality and stylish streetwear Apparel and Accessories that can be worn by anybody and any age, I mean, you can’t put an limit on drip. What we are most proud of is being a family-owned brand in a position to create generational wealth for our children and grandchildren. What set’s Got Drip Inc apart from others is our ability to appeal to younger generations and older generations. Drip is not limited when you are Dope, Real, Intellectual, People, we actually as a family, stand behind what our brand represent and encourage other’s to think and act differently as well.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
What we dislike about our city is the fact that some people tend to choose “popularity” over quality, and the lack of support for up-and-coming brands, comedians, artists, etc. What we love about our city is the amount of great opportunities it bring, we have been in the city all our lives so we love the energy, the history, plus all the other amazing characteristics of living in our city.
