Hi Tierra, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Tierra Fluker LLC DBA Distinctive Events Management started in 2012.
I started doing marketing for small businesses who needed help with generating clients and getting set up with magazines,radio and tv interviews.
I always had a knack and intellect to build relationships,connect people and grow their small business.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has been full of obstacles,challenges,disappointments,but,rewarding as well.
When you decide to become a business owner,the road is not a pretty walk,one must be resilient,resourceful,a go getter and can handle unexpected surprises daily to stay with and pursue the entrepreneur dream.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Providing marketing,advertising,public relations and annual corporate events which is my ultimate passion.
In 2022,when I moved to Torrance ,CA.
I was asked and introduced to background acting,I completely fell in love with background acting.
I still run my own business,however,I have now gotten more into background acting and I hope to do commercial work soon.
The creative side of me enjoy bringing out my creative side on movie sets.

We are celebrating and hosting our
10th Annual Healthy living expo
Fri Aug 23 at the
Grapevine Convention Center from 1pm-7pm
It’s free for guest to come and free parking
They can register on all events or eventbrite for the expo show.
We will have educational health and wellness speakers and health and wellness exhibitors.
Sat Aug 24
We are hosting
The Powerful Women’s Expo
Grapevine Convention Center
1pm-7pm
This is celebrating women business owners who are powerful and successful in the community,people who attend will be able to listen to Guest Speakers and also shop with local businesses.
It’s free for guest to come and free parking.
Guest can register on all events and also eventbrite.
