Today we’d like to introduce you to Tim & Roshun Davis.
Hi Tim & Roshun , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Mii Fashion Dallas actually started as a simple t-shirt line. Everything changed on Valentine’s Day 2020, when we put together a custom varsity jacket and joggers outfit just for ourselves, nothing we planned on selling. But everywhere we went, people kept asking where they could get it. That reaction is what pushed us to turn it into an actual clothing line.
The name “Mii” pronounced “my” captures the whole philosophy in one word. Every piece we make is personally owned, one of a kind, kind of like fraternal twins similar at a glance, but never identical.*
From there, it grew into a full lineup graphic tees, two-piece sets, tracksuits, men’s and women’s sets, hats, and structured outerwear all built with Dallas in mind and made to speak to every generation coming up in hip-hop and streetwear culture. Today, we’re putting the finishing touches on our online storefront, getting ready to bring “no two alike” to customers everywhere. The mission hasn’t changed since that Valentine’s Day outfit: everything we make is designed to feel like it belongs to the person wearing it, because it does.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a straight line, but that’s part of building something from scratch. Early on, one of the biggest challenges was just figuring out the infrastructure sourcing garments that could hold up to DTF printing without losing quality, dialing in the right pricing so the business stayed sustainable while keeping pieces accessible, and getting shipping figured out so customers weren’t overpaying or we weren’t losing money on heavier items like hoodies and jackets.
One of our biggest ongoing struggles has been making sure we source consistently high-quality supplies the fabric, the blanks, the materials that go into every piece. It would be easy to cut corners to save money, but that’s not what Mii is about. So we’ve had to be patient and selective, even when it meant slowing down, because the quality has to match the promise that every piece is made to last and made to feel like it belongs to the person wearing it.
Building the brand identity took real trial and error too nailing down a logo that actually represented “Mii,” making sure every collection felt consistent, even something as small as standardizing embroidery on our hats across different designs. None of it happens overnight, but every hurdle pushed us to be more intentional about what Mii Fashion Dallas actually stands for.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about MiiFashion Dallas?
Mii Fashion Dallas is a streetwear brand built on one core idea: no two people are exactly alike, so no two pieces should be either. Almost everything we make graphic tees, two-piece sets, tracksuits, hats, structured outerwear is made individually, so each item has its own small variations. We like to compare it to fraternal twins: similar at a glance, but never identical. When you wear Mii, you’re wearing something that’s genuinely yours.
We specialize in streetwear that blends hip-hop culture and new-generation style, designed for all ages and all kinds of people, not just one type of customer. Every collection has its own identity from Mii Sparkle to Busy Boss to Signature Tees so there’s real variety, but it all comes back to the same DNA. One collection, Dallas Undercover, is our nod to where we started, but the rest of the brand is built to speak to everybody, everywhere.
What sets us apart is that “no two alike” isn’t just a slogan it’s baked into how we actually produce the clothing. Most brands mass-produce identical units; we intentionally build in individuality. Combined with our DTF printing process, that means the quality and detail feel personal, not like it came off a factory line.
What we’re most proud of is that Mii started from nothing a t-shirt line that turned into a full clothing brand because people believed in it before we even had a name for it. We’re proud that we’ve stayed true to that original spirit through every collection since.
What we want readers to know is simple: Mii Fashion is for anyone who wants their clothes to feel like an extension of who they are made with intention, one piece at a time, no two alike.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What we like most about Dallas is the diversity —diversity of people, diversity of things to do. It’s a family-oriented city with a great sports scene and a nice nightlife on top of that. There’s really something for everyone here.
What we like least? The traffic, hands down. It’s too much traffic, and it can really wear on you.
