Today we’d like to introduce you to Tina Douglas.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Tina. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Being where I am in the sign industry today all started from being told I couldn’t do it, I saw that as a challenge. That discouragement inspired determination and passion in this than single mom and has driven a successful 19-year career. A wonderful blessing. I started off in 1999 at a small shop learning production, a lot of hard hands-on work. That hard work was noticed.
I received a job offer from a larger company in the Tyler area. There I continued in production and learning front counter working my way to managing one of their smaller locations. I worked for several wonderful companies through the years and learned many skills in every department. I didn’t limit myself. Working for these companies gave me a lot of opportunities but I was just one small piece of the puzzle to them.
I was a single mom and unexpected things happen with children as we all know and it was on me to take care of them. This was the problem! Having to take off or leave work because someone is sick or for an appointment didn’t work for the companies I had been at. I love my children, everything I do is for them and I also am passionate about my work.
So by the grace of God in 2005, I opened my first storefront in Tyler, Texas. It was exciting and scary at the same time. There were moments where it almost seemed impossible but here I am 19 years later with 2 locations and a successful business. It sure wasn’t easy, there were times when I failed and felt like giving up and discouraged by many people along the way. Don’t give up, don’t limit yourself, challenge your passion.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Has it been a smooth road… No! There has been many struggles on this journey and will likely be many more along the way but success is a bumpy road

We do custom signs, banners, vehicle lettering, full-color digital graphics and so much more. We believe that the little jobs are just as important as the big jobs. We specialize in satisfaction, from Creating one of a kind products to bringing our customers ideas to life. Our company is most proud of having the opportunity to use our skills to be apart of the journey helping each client stand out in their own way.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I would define success by the peace of mind I am able to bring to every customer and every business that comes through our doors.
