Today we’d like to introduce you to TJ Jeffery.
TJ, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I’ve had an entrepreneurial and hustler mindset since I was very young, I am talking all the way back to elementary school. I remember when Pokemon cards had first come out and I was in I think the 4th or 5th grade, and I noticed opportunity. While everyone else was worried about collecting them, I was getting them in bulk from a store local to where I lived at the time and then, I would sell them at school. Growing up all throughout Dallas in underprivileged areas will either make you or break you and for me, being broke or broken wasn’t an option.
While in my junior year of high school, I signed up for a graphic design class with no real expectations. All I knew was that I was good with different art forms and I like computers so I said sure why not. Little did I know, I would really grow to like it and I became really good at it in a short amount of time. At this time, MySpace was the hottest thing out and everyone all around wanted to be a rapper. Once again, I saw an opportunity and acted on it. I already knew how to make custom graphics all I had to do was figure out how to utilize it in the then-booming internet music realm. I thought myself how to edit the MySpace code so that I could get everything laid out and positioned exactly where I needed it according to my designs and then, I began selling MySpace layouts. I also offered artist custom Mixtape/Album Covers, Flyers, Logos, Posters… you name it I did it. This unknowingly was the birth of my now Media and Branding company Unlimited Media Worx. I’ve done work for people from all walks of life from millionaires to just your every day struggling artists that are looking to get their face, brand, and music out to the world.
All of my other businesses all came about the same way this one did, I see an opportunity and I research and then I make it happen. I am where I am today because of my drive and determination but also in big part thanks to my wife who is my best friend, main motivator and my ride or die.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not a smooth road, but like anything in life, if it’s worth having it will take some time, work and patience to persevere. One of the biggest hurdles you will face is having the finances to make your dreams happen right away. Well, this is when you have to take a step back and evaluate everything and then draw out a plan on how you will utilize your resources to work in your favor until you are to the point to where to can begin to fund your dreams or passion.
