So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I’ve been interested in doing party supply rentals for a few years now. I did my research on what I wanted to offer, I played with a few different names and I started purchasing inventory a few years ago. This June I went ahead and took a leap of faith by creating and posting a flyer and price list on my social media pages. I didn’t expect for it to take off as fast as it has but I am so excited and blessed for the opportunity to be able to service the DFW metroplex.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Has it been a smooth road? No! Lol, I have lost a few friends, I have had sleepless nights and empty stomachs! Lol, most of the struggles and stress come from doubting myself and becoming overwhelmed from the doubt I’ve created. It’s a work in progress though, I’m coming up on my 4th month in business and I am truly learning from my mistakes.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with T. T. E. Rentals – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
T. T. E. Rentals is a party rental business. We offer party essentials from tables, chairs, tents, bounce houses, and water slides. We also specialize in date night dinner setups that came just in time for Covid quarantine! We were able to set up romantic dinners in backyards and help people still celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and just plain date nights. I’m most proud of being able to start and successfully run a business during Covid! I think what I’m starting to be known for is the gazebo party tents that we offer, which is probably also what sets us apart from other rental companies. They are being booked up every weekend!
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
In the future, I plan on expanding my inventory, even more, to be able to service bigger events and more of the DFW Metroplex.
