Today we’d like to introduce you to Tori Lewis.
Tori, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
It all started when a young girl from Memphis, TN understood that God is within her. She will not fall Psalm 46:5. I took this scripture and applied it with any challenges and courses I have faced in life. With this type of mindset, i knew that I was destined for greatness. I have always been a driven, ambitious and dedicated individual who set and achieve goals. Once I graduated with my Master’s in Business, I knew that I wanted to be an entrepreneur who owns a clothing business. On July 12, 2019 Chic Rags Clothing was open for business on all social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and online website. This journey didn’t come with a silver spoon so I had to make my own by investing in myself and keeping nothing but positive energy during the creation.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I had a couple of pot holes, construction work, and bumps during the preparation of Chic Rags Clothing. For Example, my goal is to cater to women of all dimensions providing high fashion quality merchandise at an affordable price. I rarely receive poor quality from vendors, but unfortunately, it happens and I can risk losing money depending on company policy. Also, sizes and description of the fabric is necessary to look at when selecting items to sale for a business. If merchandise is not true to size or description doesn’t match what is being sold, this can also risk losing money and refunding customers due to fitting issues.

Chic Rags Clothing is an online store that caters to women of all dimensions providing quality merchandise at an affordable price. Women who consider themselves a woman of “style” and “elegance” is the ideal representation of this company. Chic Rags Clothing is known for its amazing customer service, eye-catching pieces, and affordable prices. What sets Chic Rags Clothing apart from others is that we are driven and dedicated to providing as many styles for every woman desire and need when it comes to fashion.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t believe in luck but I can say that blessing and lessons have played a big role in my life and business. When i don’t give up on myself or dream, I’m always rewarded for being obedient and consistent.
