Today we’d like to introduce you to Torian Johnson, Jimekia Howard and Jasmine Johnson.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
It all started with a dream and motivation to be better and want more. Our team, Torian, Jimekia, and Jasmine, decided to collaborate and make our dreams come true. Since we are all in the medical field, we felt like scrubs were definitely a good route. There is always a need for medical attire, especially during this time. We recently went viral on a Twitter post and that has brought us a lot of new customers from all over the United States! The support has been amazing! We are also about to open our first storefront in the coming weeks. Most importantly, we each pray and keep each other lifted and never lose sight of our dream and our ultimate goal of being successful.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has not always been a smooth road. Just like with starting any business, there are challenges, some days, we have days where we only have one sale, but we continue to lean on one another and get better each day, never losing sight of the dream.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Lifeline Scrubs Plus story. Tell us more about the business.
Lifeline Scrubs Plus is a medical scrub store, but not only do we cater to nurses but all professionals, including teachers. We offer medical scrubs as well as cups, t-shirts, key chains, badge reels, that are all hand made. What makes us so proud as a company is all of the positive feedback and support we receive. It definitely keeps us going. Lastly, it is not the business; it’s the way we do business. We specifically model our brands so that customers can see that our products fit all shapes and sizes. We also communicate and accommodate our customers. If they send us a message stating they need a specific product or color, or would like to a particular item to be added, we do just that. We strive to keep our customers satisfied and that alone will lead us to success.
