Tracie, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I have been in marketing and sales for 25+ years. Three years ago after suffering a heart attack, I stepped back from my corporate job and started be Boutique PR. I always planned to start a business but with the “life event,”, that plan was put into 5th gear.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I have enjoyed many ups but there have been downs as well! I think the downs actually help us in so many ways. The lessons learned from those times actually lift us during the UPS! I say being an entrepreneur definitely is a roller coaster.
One of my side hustles is a business TREO Storage and there I learned a lot about a lot. From manufacturing to getting on HSN – Home Shopping Network and going through the Shark Tank experience. Now, I am better equipped to help my clients in all marketing aspects.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I would say luck has a role but more than that, the hard work of networking to meet the right people to open the right doors. I personally feel like more than luck; God steps in and has a powerful way of opening a door that would ordinarily not open.
