Today we’d like to introduce you to Tracy and Emmett DeVaul Jr.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My husband and I began our journey in June of 1999 both working full time day jobs and having twins born December 1998 was a bit of a struggle to juggle it all. I found myself working late at night and him too because we both worked 8 to 5 it took a good 2 years to gain enough cl
ients for me to go part time and another 5 years for us both to become full time with our business and walk away from our so called day jobs. I am so happy for all of our achievements we have done and now having our twins 18 years old that graduated this year will hopefully continue for this to be generations of work pasted down. We offer wood repair, touch up, refinishing services on suite doors, base trim, wood wall panels and have built good long standing relationships with many contractors. We mainly work alongside several large property management companies and general contractor companies that offer commercial office suite renovations here in the metroplex. We also get many referrals to do office furniture repairs or touch ups for clients moving into the renovated office suite.
Has it been a smooth road?
Working capital, working two jobs, fear of leaving our full-time jobs with that guaranteed Friday pay check.

We are a specialty trade offering wood repair, touch up, refinishing services. We have been in business since June 1999. I have remained a small sole proprietor woman owned business / family operated.
