Becs To Basics started in September 2018 after sitting on the idea for several months. I was so inspired by many influencers in the IG community but was hesitant to do the same and put myself out there. Once I took the big step – the rest is history!
Has it been a smooth road?
I think with any new venture there will be challenges along the way. It can be stagnant growth, loss of ideas, or feeling inadequate in an ever-growing space. I try to remember that every day means a new day of growth, whether it is positive or negative. Just remember that you are always learning!

Becs To Basics is currently a passion project across social media and a blog. I discuss fashion, finding a good deal, and other aspects of life. I hope to help people who are on a budget find cute and affordable pieces, and love themselves!
Which women have inspired you in your life?
There seriously isn’t a woman in my life who hasn’t inspired me in some way! I can look to my mother and see strength, look to my friends and see their hard work become a success, and see other women’s stories and see inspiration in their words. It’s absolutely amazing!
