Today we’d like to introduce you to Travis & Candice Hill.
Travis and Candice, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Premier Home Inspections LLC started in 2009 after training with Chris Goggins of Realty Inspection Services. Chris Goggins stated he was “told by God” to train me as a home inspector. I always felt that this was more than just a job for me. It was a calling of sorts. I have always tried to pay it forward by having ethics and integrity as the cornerstone of Premier’s business plan. In 2016, Candice Hill, my wife, came on as the Marketing Director. She is truly gifted and has been the heartbeat of the organization. I have always wanted Premier to be a family business and she is the first family member to come on full time. Premier would not be where it is today without her. In 2019 we added James White III “Trey” to the ranks. Trey was the lieutenant for Ft. Worth Fire Department before his retirement last year. He has all the morals and values we require to be a part of Premier Inspections. He is also a family member. He is Candice’s Uncle.
Premier’s number one job is to simplify this part of the home buying process for our clients and our partner agents. We have a Premier Heroes program where we give back to our first responders, veterans, and teachers with additional discounts and free wood destroying insect inspections included with their home inspection. Through this desire to make things easier, we have formed life-long relationships with realtors, mortgage agents, and title companies. We love all our friends in this industry and feel blessed every day to do this job.
Has it been a smooth road?
There have been several bumps in the road along the way. Anything worth doing is hardly ever easy. In the first three years, I drove trucks to pay the bills while building up the vital relationships you have to have in this business. When I was able to support myself with Premier’s income, the work was worth it. I have had my share of people using my trust to take a piece of my business. With hard work and dedication, we have come through all the setbacks stronger. The secret to success is to stay true to yourself amidst distractions.

We are Premier Home Inspections LLC. We are a real estate inspection firm. We specialize in informing people or other businesses of the condition of the property before purchase. We are know for our faith, dependability, and our commitment to client satisfaction. We are set apart from others due to our professional report format with detailed images and free termite reports with every inspection. We also bring a lot of life and business experience that most of our competitors do not have. We are proud to be able to help our community. We have done many events throughout the years to help support a variety of organizations.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
The industry appears to be in a steady incline in the foreseeable future. Living in Texas with a strong economy helps that a lot.

- Over 2500 sq ft- $50 for each additional 1,000 sq ft
