Today we’d like to introduce you to Travis Lux.
Travis, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I grew up training hunting dogs in Iowa with my father. I knew I had a passion for dogs and wished to continue my career training Dogs. I’m 2007 my business partner and I started All Dogs Unleashed, at that point, I asked myself who was the best dog trainer in America? After lots of research, I found a guy who was dominating all the national obedience competitions, So I started attending many of his workshops.
Later I took this a step further and trained with the top competitors in the world mostly from Europe. I know have won my own national championship in obedience and protection and continue to compete and always open to learning more in the dog training world. I am very proud to say as of 2016 All Dogs Unleashed has trained over 4,800 dogs and avg 600 new trained dogs every year.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
In 5 yrs we outgrew our 1st facility and then built our own from the ground up. I feel very blessed to have been so successful in this business that I love.

All Dogs Unleashed specialized in obedience training, service dog training, protection k9 training and certify therapy dogs. All Dogs Unleashed can address and fix any unwanted dog behavior.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Winning the PSAI national championship. And opening our state of the art dog training facility 10,000 sqft on 2.7 acres.
