Trenee’, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Photography for me started out as a hobby. In high school I took a photography class and I learned how to produce prints in the black room. I have always had an interest in taking photos of my family and friends. About 2 years ago I purchase a camera and have studied photography. Today, I do professional photography such as family, maternity, Birthday, lifestyle, engagement, and weddings.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Definitely not a smooth road. When you work so hard for something and go through different obstacles to achieve it. It makes you appreciate it more. Some struggles for me were being self-taught. I had to learn everything from an aperture, ISO, and lighting before I could start to produce the images that I do now.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Tre Thornton Photography – what should we know?
I am a professional photographer. I specialize in family, maternity, engagement, and wedding photos. I am most proud of being able to create these memories for my clients. What sets me apart from others is that I am very engaged with my clients on what it is that they want to achieve. Seeing my client’s reaction to the photos that I present is the most fulfilling me.

Yes, I would like to thank my business partner and also creative director Jasmine Brown. She helps out with my business so much. I would also like to thank Josh at JCL Media for being a mentor to me and willing to teach me some of the things I use now.
