Meet Trent Stevenson of T-STRONGFITNESS in South Dallas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Trent Stevenson.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Trent. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
It started in January of 2018, where I was coming out of a bad relationship and was forced to get uncomfortable with life which for I, it only brought on more strive and dedication to put towards myself and my dreams. I had to learn to take my mind to a different level. While going through rejection and trying to find a roof over my head, for my son and I. I started working at MNX Co. Where there, I created T-STRONGFITNESS by sitting and coming up with a name for myself and using my Gift towards something good. T-strongfitness is my brand and it stands for Trent- Standing Tall Running On New Grounds. After going downtown and pay toning my brand, I knew it was nothing but up from there. I got to where I am today for three reasons, my faith in God, my dedication, hunger and the team I have behind me supporting me through this journey.

Has it been a smooth road?
I think through any success you truly want in life; the road will never be an easy road to go down. So saying that, no, this road started off rough at a young age. You can’t tell now but I use to be a chubby kid that my family members and peers at school would call me names and I would get pick on for my weight. That’s part of the reason why I am a Personal Trainer today, to show everyone that you can change anything your willing to put your mind towards. But after growing up in Dallas and graduating at Cedar Hill High School, where I received a full-time scholarship to play football at Southern Arkansas University. There is when I was in the last year of my senior year where I was falsely accused of a crime that I was proven innocent. Because of this, I lost my football opportunity to go to the league, but I still went back after my suspension and faced embarrassment, where I then graduated in 2012 on the dean’s list with a GPA of 3.7 in Bachelors of Criminal Justice Degree. Through this trial, I then came home and tried to pursue my degree field and started working for the Juvenile Detention Center for troubled youth, there is where I learned my true passion for helping others. After the bad relationship and after leaving the Juvenile Detention Center to MNX, I was then forced again to come out of my confront zone and take it to another level, when MNX released me from work. I was back at square one in a situation where I had to try and figure out how to provide for my son and myself. The good thing about life when this happened, I had already built a foundation for T-strongfitness and had a team built that just now I have the opportunity to put 120 % towards my dream and my business and not towards someone else business.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with T-STRONGFITNESS – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
What I like best about Dallas, I was born and raised from Dallas and The Stevenson’s Family is from Dallas.
What I least like about Dallas, I believe there is not a lot of supporters and leaders as entrepreneurs for not just youth but for adults also, an entrepreneur that is trying to help and motivate other entrepreneur trying to build a business.
