Today we’d like to introduce you to Trey Thornton.
Hi Trey, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My time at Handsome started as a fresh opportunity to stay in shape, show off my hard-work, and desire to grow. I quickly became very passionate about the company, after seeing how it was brought to success, and the amount of work that was put into growing the brand. The detail oriented service brightens people’s day, and always gives them the comfort of knowing they have somebody to trust, and to take care of their property, I worked my way through the ranks, by shear hard-work, sweat, and the yearn to prove myself to Handsome. I am now Chief Of Field Operations, and second in command of a quickly growing company. I was always eager to take on extra tasks, and do anything I could to help us succeed.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Anything worth doing, is usually not “easy”. I love what I do, and the instant gratification of a large clean up, or tedious sod install is hard to beat. With that being said, with Texas weather conditions, a constantly changing environment, and a high demand for our services, I wouldn’t consider my road to success to be easy. Texas summers can be brutal, and keeping yourself healthy enough to insure the best quality of work is challenging. Water is not enough to replenish what your body loses throughout the 100° days.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am the Chief of Field Operations at Handsome Lawn Service in Arlington, Texas. We are a high end Landscaping company, who handles the entire exterior of your property around Arlington. We specialize in extremely detail oriented service, excellent customer communication, and efficient planning and execution of any outdoor projects you can dream of. Whether it is an idea you need us to help finish, or a plan you just need help executing, Handsome can help assist, and complete your project with guaranteed satisfaction. We are most known for our dependability, no customer if ever “left hanging”, or forgotten about. We build a schedule tailored to efficient routes, and insured satisfaction. I am most proud of the brand, what it represents, and what it means to all of our customers. Unlike a lot of Landscaping companies, we are extremely easy to communicate with, quick to respond, up front and honest with quotes/pricing, and a time frame that best suits your needs. Our end goal is a happy customer, and a smile, before we ever leave a job.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
A core childhood memory for me is my Dad throwing me around in the pool, and teaching me how to do flips, and tricks at a very young age. I soon hope to teach my son the same,
