Today we’d like to introduce you to Tricia Sitemere.
Tricia, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
About three years ago, a friend of mine and I that I hadn’t seen in such a long time decided to meet for dinner to catch up. We talked about where we were in our lives and other various topics. We had a pretty lengthy conversation around what wanted to accomplish both personally and professionally. By the end of the dinner, we had a short list of goals that we committed to working towards and we set a time to meet up again to check in. We continued to do this for about eight months. We were so excited that we were making so much progress on our goals in a relatively short amount of time, that we invited another friend to join our meet ups. Fast forward a few months to the end of 2017. We were reflecting on the year/planning for 2018 and were really blown away by how much we were able to accomplish and the changes we were seeing. So excited, that we ordered a bottle of champagne to celebrate the positive movement. From that point, I just couldn’t contain my excitement about what was being accomplished that I was telling almost anyone who would listen. So, we added another person and another and our little group began to grow. During one of our brunch meetings, we were talking about various challenges and I was going through my own frustrations and said, “I’m sick of this shit!!” I joked that I was going to write a book and title it “I’m Sick of This Shit” The idea wouldn’t leave me, so I sat down one day and began writing. It took me about a year to write the book and then, I went through the process to have the book published. Meanwhile, the meet-ups, that I started calling “People Empower”, had grown to a pretty sizable group. The several months leading up to my book signing to release the book, I created materials, workshops, and training that would support someone who worked through the book and things just sort of took off from there. I rolled out my 1 on 1 coaching program and continued to manage People Empower. I then started getting tapped to speak at different development workshops, to high school and college students and I saw an increase in people reaching out interested in fulfillment coaching. I truly LOVE coaching people towards the goals they want to accomplish and helping them find their fulfillment. Everyone has the right to be happy and to spend their time and energy in a way that is fulfilling to them. It certainly has been a journey. I coach my clients to find their “joy in the journey” and that is something that I for sure practice as well. I’ve learned a lot about myself and am continuously learning about running a business. It’s hard work but it’s been a lot of fun and very rewarding!
Has it been a smooth road?
Honestly, it’s been a bit of both. As far as what services I wanted to provide and HOW I wanted to support my clients, that all came natural to me because it was built upon my professional experience in Human Resources and life experiences. I also have a phenomenal personal circle that has been extremely supportive and encouraging so that has made a huge difference. My husband has been amazing since he gets to hear all my random ideas the most. Where I struggled was that there was just so much about the ins and outs of the business that I didn’t know so I was spending quite a bit of time researching various aspects or tapping into connections that I had made who were experts in a particular subject. Another area I struggled in is that I, at one point, wanted to offer SO many different things to my clients; almost too many so I had to really think through what would be most impactful to people. I landed on my four main services: 1 on 1 coaching. The Reboot Workshop, People Empower, and the No Regrets Retreat!
So, as you know, we’re impressed with CTRL Alt Delete – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
I am CTRL Alt Delete. Take CTRL of your future. Alt-er your mindset and Delete all doubt. I am a fulfillment coach and I help people find clarity around what they want out of life and then support them in getting into action and staying in action. I am all about moving the needle towards self-actualization and living in true fulfillment.
Within in CTRL Alt Delete, I offer 1 on 1 coaching which is individualized support typically over the course of several months in 1-hour sessions. The sessions can be in person or virtually.
The Reboot Workshops are for small business/corporate clients that are looking to reboot their teams over a 1- or 3-day session. These are custom workshops that I create based on the needs of the specific team.
The No Regrets Retreat is a 3-day experience that includes a variety of different personal development sessions and experiential activities. The retreat will be taking place in Runaway Bay Jamaica, early next year and finally is People Empower.
People Empower is a group of purpose planning individuals exchanging resources and engaging in collaboration to move the needle forward. This group is basically a community where you can surround yourself with like-minded individuals. We meet every other month around a specific topic and sometimes we have experts come in to share knowledge in a specific area or topic.
I’m known to some people from my guided self-help book entitled “I’m Sick of This Shit” It’s an interactive guide to help you move through the thought processes of making a change in your life. It’s a combination of journaling, a bit of my personal experience, quotes to motivate you and then how to get started on your new life path.
What sets me apart is that I don’t just offer coaching, I have created a system to help you make those personal strides in your life. My system is very much a partnership with my clients. You must be committed to making changes and be open to me holding you accountable in order for the system to work. I’m in your corner cheering you on every step of the way! I’m a ball of energy wrapped in sunny disposition. #TrustTricia
What I am most proud of: The personal growth of clients and people that I have worked with. I love getting the text message or email when a client has accomplished something we have been working on together. Or when they challenge themselves and they succeed. Or hearing from the client that initially thinks they CAN’T and has a host of reasons why what they desire in their life isn’t possible to them growing into the mindset that they can, and they will! It truly is a beautiful thing and very special to me to be invited into someone’s life on such a personal level. I love to see people winning. Onward and Upward!!!!
