Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyler James.
Tyler, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I am an artist from Fort Worth Texas. I am 21 years old. My passion for art was revealed to me by the access of deep transcendental meditative states of consciousness as well as the blossoming of the love I share with my partner in this experience.
My objective is to ripple a transmission that is a universal truth of the duality of creation itself that can be felt all around us but cannot be translated into a human language. I have developed a color theory in my pieces that I have chosen to represent as love, the soul, and the source or God. I have discovered a relationship of pure emotion between light and color that is being transmitted from God to all who can perceive it and I have chosen to illustrate this in my art. Each color I use has a meaning that holds continuity throughout all of my work. I usually like for my art to be interpreted by the individuals viewing experience alone, however, I feel as though some context for the first painting in this series should allow a better understanding of the story and give the audience some foundation to explore upon.
My notes on the painting I call Dance With Me:
The shapes in the painting are my interpretation of the soul these two, in particular, represent mine (blue) and Grace’s (red).
Red represents her because she is warm, independent, and keeps things grounded Blue represents me because I am calm and like to keep things in control and at peace.
The red soul fades to a strip of orange where I showcase the synchronicity of the number 3. A drop of purple underneath to represent her heart that has felt intense pain yet holds so much love. To the left is a flesh color to represent her beauty above that is white to represent the purity of her soul The tail is a gold/yellow to represent the crown and her royalty in the universe.
The blue soul flows into a dark green that represents my love for nature. The cream color is used to make the shape of a skull to represent I am willing to die for what I love. A blue waterfall falls out of the mouth of the skull into a cloudy white and blue sky The tail is a representation of my crown and royalty in the universe but is also showing my grip on a sword to represent me as a warrior and it means I will fight for my ideas.
The shapes are meant to take on a look as if galaxies are colliding spinning them a cosmic dance allowing us to spread our ideas and access to a higher consciousness as well as being symbols created in the proportion of the golden ratio to represent intelligent design in nature offset at an angle to represent perfection in relation to the sun to allow life to exist.
Textures are thick where the two shapes meet to represent the ripple of energy that is created between us when we come together. Red and blue together make purple which is the color between us representing our spiritual interaction and path to understanding each other as one. The purple texture near the center of the red is smooth and soft to show how I interact with her soul. The purple texture near the center of the blue is rough and thick to show that I am a bit difficult to get close to. The texture smooths out towards the end to show how the red has been able to calm my waves and touch my soul.
Pink and white are for the sky and fascination for the heavens. Blue, red and yellow are the colors of my flower of consciousness that I offer to the universe and everything I encounter. Blue for the calm red for the passion yellow for power 13 is in the top left corner which is the day I completed the painting and represents the imperfect yet synchronistic quality of time that allows 13 full moon cycles within a year.
This is a finger painting.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I have had a history of mental health issues since I was around the age of 15 that has been difficult to overcome later on in my life that I still struggle with today. I use art as my own personal therapy in a way that takes the dark and negative experiences in my life and turns them into things that are quite colorful and beautiful to me.
We’d love to hear more about your art.
Indolesphere is the collective consciousness of our planet that we are all connected to. My partner and I are a singular node in a grid of infinite beings. We are artists attempting to illustrate the indescribable experience that lies just beneath the surface of our everyday reality.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I would not change a thing. Nothing is coincidental and everything that happened on our journey was according to a prophecy embedded in time.
