Hi Urooj, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I came to the USA in 2015, and since then, struggle started to get settle down; I always loved makeup and hair Styling. It gives me happiness. So, I did certifications needed for the job and started working towards it. Initially, I worked at hair bar to gain experience, and from 2020, I started working as a freelance makeup artist and hairstylist.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Of course, struggles are there. It’s a very competitive market. And when I started on my own as freelance, covid hit and then whole world was struggling 😪.
We’ve been impressed with Makeup and Hair by UR, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I do Makeup and Hairstyling for bride, groom, family members for a lot of other events like prom, graduation party, baby shower, Quinceanera, cooperate events, etc. Other services include tattoos cover-up, saree drapping, jewelry setting, dress setting.
All the services are performed onsite of event.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Services company soon are luxurious facials, hair protein treatment, Brazilian blowout, tinting.
