Today we’d like to introduce you to Vaishali Shrivastava.
Vaishali, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
For my daughter’s first birthday in 2008, I worked with an event planner. Talking and working with him really excited me, and the birthday turns out to be a successful. Staying in Mumbai and working full-time, never got a chance to think in this direction. Fast Forward moved to in US in 2012, while I was waiting for my work Permit, I made gang of friends, and together we started organizing many community events. Did a lot of community events, festivals, birthday parties, baby showers, and much more. I did this for almost 8-9 years before deciding to start my own Event Planner Company. Started my company in late 2022, and in 6 months have done more than 50 plus small and big events. I thoroughly loved what I do. My husband is my partner in crime, and my family and friends always motivates me.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Being an IT project manager professionally, no projects is delivered smoothly. All have some hiccups. But what I truly feel end product or end should be beautiful. Same in the event planning business, sometime things doesn’t go as per plan. We worked with new people when started, but sometime customer wasn’t fully satisfied. We learned after every events. We are still learning, and learning will be lifelong. No two events are same, having a custom event planned for each customer is challenging and fun at the same time.
I believe having personal touch in everything I do or any events I take.
Customers trust me, and it’s my responsibilities to ensure that their event turns out to be a memory of lifetime.

Socio Adda is a DFW Event Planning Company. We specialize in doing complete event planning coordination and provide all event services for all different types of events. We provides, catering, decoration, photography, videography, DJ, kids entertainment, Games Host, Emcee, and many more services. We are small team of passionate people.
Been a customer once and moving to other side, we understand Customer needs and provide suggestion based on their needs. A lot of time, shares a much more details which is not part of my scope. As a host, they have many things going during their own event. We make sure we take all the burdens out of their head. They should feel like guest in their own party, more relaxed and have fun.

My vision is to see Socio Adda as a Brand. Brand values comes with a lot of hard work, patience, and passion. Event planning is more a passion than a business for me. We work with people who sees it as a passion too. Passion brings a lot of creative ideas in this field.
