Meet Val Lewis of Val’s Place of Hope

Today we’d like to introduce you to Val Lewis.

Pastor Val was born and raised in Dallas, Texas by her parents Betty Loud and the late Jack Loud Jr.

Raised with a strong church influence, she grew up watching her parents give endlessly to those in the community and to family. Developing a love for giving to those less fortunate than herself, she first founded Sons of Purpose & Daughters of Destiny Ministries empowering young adults to become entrepreneurs.

She is the Founder and CEO of Val’s Place Of Hope Inc. She is also an Author, Mentor, Humanitarian and the mother of three beautiful children and eight awesome grandchildren. Her first book The Hidden Treasures Within God’s Elect Lady, was released and listed on Amazon in 2016.

She has a heart’s desire to Empower and Encourage, the Body of Christ. She has been given a mandate that is geared to guide women of all walks of life, in developing a more intimate relationship with Christ, acquiring a greater knowledge of their Biblical role as women and advancing the kingdom of God through serving within and beyond their inner circles. Because of her passion and love for God’s people to walk in the abundance of God’s promises and provisions, she has spent over twenty-five years helping other ministries build, feed and clothe communities throughout the world, while also giving shelter and housing to several hundred displaced families. Her “My Life Is an Open Book” approach has propelled her from adversities and many challenges, to a place of Purpose and Destiny. She endeavors to make a difference in the lives of families by imparting the Spirit of Excellence, Love and Hope.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Diagnosed with MS as a young woman, I always believed The Report of The Lord, determined not to give up on what I have been given to do. After overcoming the heartache of Divorce, sleeping on my parent’s sofa for 3 months and the challenge of raising my children as a single parent, I purposed to assist those experiencing the challenges I had overcome, birthing what is now Called VAL’S PLACE OF HOPE INC.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Val’s Place Of Hope – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
The mission of Val’s Place of Hope is to provide a safe place and services for individuals and families.

We endeavor to empower disenfranchised low-income families and individuals by building leadership through programs that teach life skills. We aspire to create self-sufficiency and thriving communities through the Word of God and through our deeds of love.

Val’s Place of Hope exists to fight the causes and effects of poverty through service, advocacy and relationship. Working together as a community, we feed the hungry, house the homeless and renew hope in the heart of families throughout the city.

I am most proud of our Disaster Relief Efforts dating back to Hurricane Katrina and the staff of volunteers that genuinely care about our mission and the people we serve.

Restoring Hope For Tomorrow sets us apart from others.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I am always planning for the future. It is my desire to cast another of expanding efforts in the community as well as globally.

The big changes for Val’s place of hope is to expand into third world countries to empower young woman to become entrepreneurs.
