Meet Valencia Snow of Snow4Cosmetics

Today we’d like to introduce you to Valencia Snow.

Valencia, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
While attending college in a small town, I missed getting my nails done so I decided to teach myself. While doing so I found a super pretty glitter that I ended up adding to a spare clear gloss. Fast forward to a year later, I couldn’t find one of my favorite lipgloss at any store so I decided to try to make some more of my original gloss. After that, I decided to continue making my own lipgloss coming up with different colors and scents then I launched my company Snow4Cosmetics in February of 2020. I’ve since then added body scrubs and an eyeshadow palette. I use my business to help raise funds for Sickle Cell Disease something I’m passionate about.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Unlike Cover Girl’s slogan everything hasn’t been easy breezy. But nothing in life comes easy. Some struggles I’ve faced it not always having the support that I want. I overcome that struggle by always posting about my business and mentioning it to strangers that I come across on a day to day.

We’ve been impressed with Snow4Cosmetics, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Snow4Cosmetics lipgloss and body scrubs are handcrafted and made with love. All of our products are vegan. What sets us apart is the fact that we don’t use a vendor for our lipgloss. All of lipgloss includes different oils that are guaranteed to have your lips soft all day long even after eating or drinking. Each color was chosen with care. Our Purple Haze body scrub is perfect nighttime shower additive for those who deal with insomnia because it has melatonin in it. We are proud to help bring awareness to Sickle Cell Disease.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
Something interesting I’ve learned is people will still online shop if the items they want or need are accessible online. Time management has also been a lesson learned as well for dealing with the post office. You have to get stuff out within a day or two so there won’t be such a huge delay with the customer receiving the order.
