A week before my 45th birthday, I was approached by a friend to start my own business being an Independent Consultant for Paparazzi Accessories! I was reluctant because I had recently retired from being a dental assistant for 20 plus years! I jumped after giving it some thought and I have been a small business owner since 2017 and loving it.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Of course, it hasn’t been a smooth road. Nothing is smooth sailing. My struggles with being a small business owner and being a mom of two daughters and a chronic illness Warrior has given me lots of challenges. I’m here for it. Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2010, saps my energy. That’s not an excuse because I can work my business ANYWHERE!

I’m an Independent Consultant for Paparazzi Accessories. Great sisterhood and empowering company that wants you to succeed. We specialize in affordable, chic accessories that are lead and nickel free. I’m proud of the fact that company allows you to be you and work your business!
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
I’m a people person. Being in customer service for several years, I am approachable and can make you feel as if you are my one and only customer. I’m always available, whether it a customer or one of my business partners. I can travel to you for house parties, vendor events, etc. I put myself out there to be available for support or excellent customer service.
