Meet Vicki Christiansen of LeAnn’s Bridal in McKinney

Today we’d like to introduce you to Vicki Christiansen.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Vicki. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My husband and I got married in 2007. We made the move from Oregon to Houston shortly after we were married. I LOVED planning our wedding so when we moved, I decided it was the perfect time for a career change. I started working at Houston Bridal Gallery. I fell in love with all things bridal. Helping the brides, the fashion, the changing trends, learning about alterations…..I knew I found my calling! I stayed with them until 2016 when we moved to McKinney where I started managing LeAnn’s Bridal. I was blessed with the opportunity to purchase LeAnn’s Bridal in 2017!

Has it been a smooth road?
There are always going to be challenges in any business. It is how you handle these challenges that will get you through. Shortly after purchasing LeAnn’s Bridal, I had to move locations. I had an amazing realtor that found us our current location! We were able to move everything and get the new location ready and only closed for two weeks!! Then eight months after our move, we had a flood inside our store and had to be closed for a month. Of course, now we are all dealing with COVID-19. What gets me through all of this? Having the most amazing employees and the BEST brides!! My employees are always there for me whenever I need them. The brides are always understanding when we have to be closed during any of these events. I truly am blessed with those that surround me!

We specialize in the attire for your gorgeous wedding day! We have wedding gowns, veils, belts, shoes, jewelry, undergarments, flower girl dresses, and bridesmaid dresses.

At LeAnn’s Bridal, we strive to provide brides with a once-in-a-lifetime experience and help them find the perfect dress for their special day. Each bride is different and we want every bride to know that she is beautiful, valued and unique. When you make an appointment with us, you get your own Bridal Stylist and a private bridal suite. This is something that was important for me when we moved locations. When a bride is in our boutique, I want her to feel comfortable while trying on dresses. I want her to enjoy her moment with her family and friends. I want her to celebrate with them when she says YES to her dress!! We also offer Private Appointments outside of our business hours. This allows the bride to have the entire boutique to herself.

We honestly care for each one of our brides. We love hearing from our brides during all of their planning. We love to know how things are coming together. When you leave our boutique, we want you to feel you left with a new friend!

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I love owning a business in McKinney!! So much support from our community. Our chamber put together a parade of businesses and went live on Facebook. It was so great to see the support. My family and I stood outside our location, with our sign, during the parade. It was amazing seeing the parade, and everyone that was honking and waving as they drove by showing support of so many small businesses. Super proud to be part of such an amazing community!!

Pricing:

  • Our wedding gowns range from $1200-$7000 with the majority being in the $1500-$3500 range
  • Our bridesmaid dresses range from $135-$250 Ask us about our bridesmaid discounts
  • We have designers that offer customizations! These dresses start at $2000
