Vivian Van, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Growing up, my mom and dad always had a camcorder, film camera, or digital camera in their hands, capturing all the memories we made together as a family. As soon as they gifted me a digital camera in middle school, I was capturing anything and everything! I loved having photos and videos to look back on and relive those special moments.
When I started planning my own wedding and working as an assistant coordinator with Bella Festa Event Planning, I fell in love with capturing behind-the-scenes moments of couples on their big day. I realized just how much I love serving others on their wedding day and helping make it the most magical day possible.
Now, I feel so grateful that I get to combine that love of serving others with my passion for capturing memories. I love being there to capture all the little moments, details, laughs, happy tears, and everything in between on my phone so couples can look back on their wedding day and relive the magic for years to come.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
So far, this journey has been everything I imagined it would be. I think some of the challenges that come with getting started don’t feel quite as difficult because I truly love what I do. Every wedding feels magical to me, and I simply love love!
One thing I do struggle with is balancing my passions with my full-time job. I work in finance, and I genuinely love helping people there as well. There are times when I’ll work a full 40-hour week and then have a weekend packed with weddings. It can definitely feel overwhelming at times, and finding time to rest and recharge can be a challenge.
But whenever I start to feel overwhelmed, I remind myself what a blessing it is to live a life where I get to do the things I love. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve others through both of my passions and to continue building something that brings me so much joy.

Videos By Vivian is a wedding content creation business all about capturing the moments you may not get to see on your special day. I pay intentional attention to the little details, behind-the-scenes memories, candid moments, and all the excitement that happens in between. I’m there with my iPhone, capturing the day as it unfolds in real time, and within 48 hours, I deliver a curated gallery full of videos and pictures of your favorite moments for you to relive and share. From getting ready with your girls and first looks with the people dearest to you to the dance floor moments and all the little details you worked so hard to plan, I want to make sure nothing gets forgotten.
My goal is to give couples the ability to relive their wedding day almost immediately and have an abundance of memories to look back on for years to come.
What sets me apart is that I bring both a content creator’s eye and real wedding-day experience to every event. Through my experience as an assistant coordinator, I’ve learned how a wedding day flows, what moments to anticipate, and how to capture meaningful content while still being mindful of the couple, vendors, and timeline. I understand that my role is to enhance the day, not get in the way of it.
I also believe in making the experience personal. When you book with me, you know exactly who will be there capturing your day. From our first conversation to your wedding day, you’re working directly with me, and I’m the one behind the camera capturing your memories. I want my couples to feel comfortable, cared for, and confident that their day is being captured by someone who genuinely cares about the little moments just as much as they do.
When I capture content, I’m not thinking about what pieces are going to go viral or what the popular trends are. I see you and your partner for the love you share and everything it took to get you to this moment. Marriage is at the center of my content and storytelling. I love being part of such an important day and serving my couples by capturing the moments that make their love story uniquely theirs.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I think the most important quality to my business is my faith and belief that God has me right where I’m supposed to be. We live in a day and age where comparison is the thief of joy when it comes to how many clients you have, what weddings you’re capturing, and even what equipment you have. I strongly believe that God has put me in this spot and connected me with clients that I can truly make a difference for. I’ve learned that my business doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s to be meaningful. For me, success isn’t simply about how big my business becomes. It’s about being faithful with what God has given me, serving my clients well, and trusting that the right people will find their way to me.
Aside from my faith, I feel like one of the most important qualities to my success is my positive attitude and whimsical nature. I treat every couple’s wedding day as if I were their maid of honor. I pride myself on bringing energy, enthusiasm, and genuine excitement to such a special day. I know that wedding days can sometimes feel overwhelming or chaotic, so I want to be someone who brings a sense of calm while still keeping the energy high. I’m there to celebrate with you, encourage you, help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and make sure you’re having fun throughout the day.
At the end of the day, I want my couples to feel like they didn’t just have a content creator following them around. I want them to feel like they had someone in their corner cheering them on. I’m their ultimate hype woman, calm in the chaos, and genuinely invested in making their day as joyful and magical as possible.
