Meet Walter Bruce of Dallas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Walter Bruce.

Hi Walter, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey as a philanthropist began during a difficult season in my life. In that time, I made a covenant with God, promising that if He blessed me and revealed my purpose, I would honor that covenant by giving back to Him. As doors began to open and clarity came, I committed myself to serving others, using what I’ve been given to make a meaningful impact to the community and touching our generation with the power of God.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has definitely not been a smooth road. Leadership often comes with valley seasons such as times of uncertainty, volunteers stepping away, and ongoing challenges with limited resources. There have also been moments when the mission itself faced resistance or misunderstanding. Each of these struggles tested my faith and resilience, but they also strengthened my resolve, clarified the mission, and reminded me why this work matters.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
My work centers on technology, product building, and entrepreneurship. I specialize in creating and scaling digital products; developing apps and technology solutions that bring people’s visions and creativity to life. As the owner of my own technology company, I have the opportunity to merge innovation with purpose every day. I also have authored two books to share my passion and story to others.

What I’m most proud of is being able to walk fully in my purpose as a servant leader and using my skills to serve others while helping them succeed. What sets me apart is my passion, creative mindset, and unwavering determination to help others thrive in the marketplace, not just build products but build confidence, opportunity, and impact along the way.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is how I serve, how I lead, and the lives I’m able to impact for the Kingdom of God. I want to leave a legacy as a man who showed up for his community and who opened his arms to everyone and led with compassion. Above all, my desire is to reflect the love of Christ by being the hands and feet of Jesus on earth, meeting people where they are and loving them well.
