Today we’d like to introduce you to Walter Frazier.
Walter, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I was introduced to the underground art and poetry world in Arlington, TX, by one of my artists. I immediately fell in love with the atmosphere. After speaking with different artists, I realized I wanted to help artists of all backgrounds to get more exposure. That’s when I created 1Five Productions and started promoting artists and throwing weekly Open Mic Nights. I am dedicated to providing the platform for those who need a place to showcase their music, art, and creative talents.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has not been a smooth road, but I love the grind. I’ve been blessed to cross paths with some amazing individuals to guide me in the right direction.
1Five Productions – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
1Five Productions provides the platform for individuals who need support on getting their talents/content out. We specialize in a promotion. I am proud of how hard my team works to find resources for underground artists. I am also proud of our innovative ideas on how to expand. What sets us apart from others is that we actually build relationships with individuals. We want to know where they see themselves in the next five years and put together a SMART plan to accomplish their goals.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I believe true success is ultimately crossing off goals that will lead you to generational wealth or changing one’s life. Making moves to be able to provide for you and your family. Providing a service that allows others to change their lives and become their version of success.
