Born and raised in Dallas Texas, Whitney has had a passion for event planning her entire life. After graduating from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, she used her love for design work in the fashion industry for over 7 years. While planning her own wedding in 2013, Whitney discovered her niche and decided to start her own business specializing in wedding and event planning. Engaged Events, formally known as Chic Fleur Weddings and Events, has planned over 150+ weddings today and continues to grow each year.

Starting a business isn’t always smooth sails and can often be bumpy in the beginning. With the help and support of Whitney’s friends and families (and social media), Engaged Events has grown into one of the top wedding coordinating business in Dallas.

Engaged Events is a full planning service which begins our planning process by getting to know our clients wants, needs and desires. We help obtain this by simply laying the groundwork for their personal budgets, timelines and logistics of their event. By building a series of design and explorations, we ensure that the personality of our client shines through their event with a hand-selected vendor team which will leave them inspired every step of the way.
With every event we plan, we are your team from the beginning of the planning process until the very end. Engaged Events doesn’t just plan and design events, we create and develop experiences that will bring you a sense of joy and discovery not only on your special day but every step of the way.
